This challenge opened my eyes about how many products I buy (we all buy) that include plastic packaging. It’s far too many. I am already more mindful about what I purchase and will do what I can to stop supporting the use of plastics.

This is an eye-opening challenge because it showed me how MUCH PLASTIC we all use everywhere. It’s hard to escape and requires a dedicated effort all year, every year.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

It’s surprisingly difficult to make an actual plastic-free meal. I’m looking at ways to improve my own habits.
