I have become hyper aware of the amount of litter on the streets of Los Angeles.

When non-profit agencies mail fundraising promo items, I take the items  (notepads, stickers, bookmarks) too a Little Free Library in my neighborhood.

Grocery and take out bags are easy for me to replace with reusables (been doing it for years) but I'm having a hard time giving up the produce bags.

What have you learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling, what you can drop off or ship to certain places, and what is not recyclable in your area? What is the most difficult part of recycling for you?

It is really difficult to recycle plastic bags and film packaging.  I'll keep my bag full of plastic film in my car so I can drop it off at a specific local Target when I am there.
