Karina Balsley 7/31/2022 9:20 AMWell, here we are at the end of July. I've really enjoyed this year's plastic free Ecochallenge, although, it feels like the month sped by. I'm excited to carry on my new habits and actions all through this year, and beyond. Great job everyone 🎉 -
Karina Balsley 7/24/2022 8:34 AMToday I spent around an hour researching sustainable fashion. I completed this action last year, and decided to look further into it this challenge. Being as eco-friendly as you can is often difficult and discouraging. Making sustainable fashion choices is no exception. My advice: Be mindful. Only purchase clothing (or anything for that matter) when you need it. Look into sustainable options, thrift stores are a good budget friendly one. Wear your clothes (wherever you got them from) for as long as they last. Repurpose old falling apart clothing into new clothing, art, or kitchen rags!
I also found this 10 question sustainable fashion quiz it's good way to test your knowledge (plus the results include horrible clothing puns):
