  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

I think you can set a good example by using reusable containers and having conversations with those around you about how the switch went for you and your household. Make reusables fun by decorating your containers or purchasing ones with fun prints on them.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
What are some of the cases you could make to an employer for why switching to durable dishes and utensils is actually in their best interest as well?

Switching could save money and show employees that sustainability is important to the company.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
How can you be an advocate for using reusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable food packaging or eating utensils, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

I think having those conversations with people and raising awareness about alternatives when appropriate.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Since the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?
