REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityHow does hosting a watch party help you to get to know your guests, connect them to the cause you are focusing on, and build your community?
Kaie Dullanty 7/30/2022 3:18 AMWe did the is together as a family! We love watching movies and Netflix together so we came together and watched something about waste and plastic to be educational and learn! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityHow does working with others to clean up your community make you feel?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWhat did you learn by making your own cleaning products? What is the biggest difference in making vs buying?
Kaie Dullanty 7/27/2022 10:00 PMI love making things at home. I learned it doesn’t take much. Usually just water and vinegar. 🙈 -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWas this action easy or difficult to do? How did it change your travel experience?
Kaie Dullanty 7/27/2022 9:58 PMThis wasn’t difficult at all. If anything it’s remembering to bring the snack.
Change travel by eliminating the need to eat out or buy stuff. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamilyMost of us know that the "3 R's" are reduce, reuse, recycle. Recycling is most heavily emphasized in modern Western culture. How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Kaie Dullanty 7/23/2022 10:20 PMImplementing these ‘r’s is fine, I would reuse materials, refuse cups and single use plastics, repair things so we don’t have to buy new and repurpose things so again we don’t have to buy new but gives other things new life!
It’s fun, exciting to see creativity and new ways to bring things back to life. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamilyHow can you and your little one exercise your creativity without creating more plastic waste?
Kaie Dullanty 7/23/2022 10:18 PMI’m the little one- but I can help my mom do more crafts with other materials like pens, markers, paint! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamilyWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Kaie Dullanty 7/23/2022 10:16 PMWhat concerns me is the unconsciousness people have to their actions and what the future holds. We need to do more and it’s sad to see people just not care. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamilyHow can you take your commitment to sustainable living beyond yourself and your family? How can you, personally, work toward broader change?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal CareWhat are the economic and personal benefits of switching to bar soap/shampoo/conditioner or refillable bottle options?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityLandfills and recycling centers tell us a lot about our communities and purchasing habits. What did you glean from your tour?
Kaie Dullanty 7/19/2022 9:47 PMMan, we have so much trash. We just went to our county’s facility and it’s crazy.
