Nancy Gallagher 8/01/2022 5:04 PMI learned that every little action helps. I am very capable of making changes for me/my family and encourage change around me. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWas this action easy or difficult to do? How did it change your travel experience?
Nancy Gallagher 7/29/2022 1:34 PMIt’s not that hard to do. Sometimes it allows us to sit at a rest stop picnic table and chat…people watch and rest.

REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal CareHow can you advocate for the importance of reducing packaging to the rest of your friends, family and larger community?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONFamilyHow does swapping out prepackaged snacks for fresh fruit or veggies benefit your family?
Nancy Gallagher 7/29/2022 1:31 PMWe eat more fresh veggies by me packaging them in reusable pouches. Grab and go! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleAs you have reduced your spending, what have you noticed about your 'health and safety' purchasing habits? How might this change your longer term purchasing decisions?
Nancy Gallagher 7/29/2022 1:29 PMI realize there are some things I can make from things I already have…I even made my own mayo for potato salad!-
Nancy Gallagher 7/29/2022 4:28 PMThe recipe is from The Homemade Pantry by Alana Chernila. It’s worth a read. I’ve changed a number of things because of her ideas. -
Krystina Jarvis 7/29/2022 3:08 PMOh wow! Do you have a recipe to share? I've thought of making my own potato salad but I don't want to buy a whole jar of mayo since I know I won't eat it.

Nancy Gallagher 7/28/2022 5:10 AMI’ve been home sick with COVID this week. I sent my husband (who is fine) out with the cloth bags and a list of only what we needed. He even packed lunch 2 of last 3 days!! I guess I’m rubbing off on him! -
Nancy Gallagher 7/13/2022 10:20 AMIt was trash day…so probably will have a pocket full of stuff after my walk!
I’m working on a handout for our block party next month to try to spread the word about “trash”. I see so much stuff that could be recycled in regular trash or things that could be reused…we live near a Habitat Restore!! -
