This is a tough one for sure, but it forced me to invest in some really effective reusable plastic bags that I love and will keep using for a long time!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

This is a tough daily challenge! My grocery store puts almost everything in plastic, very unnecessarily. Heading to the farmers market is a good way to avoid plastic and has other environmental and societal benefits (reduced shipping costs, etc.)!

It's going great so far! Love how this forces me to be much more conscious of all the plastic in the world around me. I hope to keep up with the changes I am making after July!
