REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyleWhat did you learn about the waste you create? Where can you reduce the most?
Sarah Hoback 7/20/2022 5:49 AMCompleting a waste audit was pretty eye opening. I think I tend to use less plastic than the average person but it's still so much! It's definitely made me think more about all the little ways plastic sneaks into my life and how I can combat that. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityHow does the act of picking up litter connect you more to your community?
Sarah Hoback 7/08/2022 10:58 AMI picked up four pieces of litter this morning on my walk from the parking lot to the employee entrance. It's disheartening to see how much trash is left outside especially when there are so many trash cans around. -
Sarah Hoback 7/05/2022 7:44 AMMy favorite facial cleanser unfortunately has microbeads in it. Since I'm almost out, I thought now would be a good time to try something new. I ordered two new bar soaps to try out from A Drop In The Ocean and really like them so far. I got rid of the microbeads and the plastic bottle too.-
Carrie Ireland 7/05/2022 10:20 AMThanks for sharing Sarah. My morning cleanser has microbeads in it. Oh no! I'll consider a new option when it's time to replace it.
