My mom has made a conscious effort to clean and stock up her recyclables. Sometimes I have to help her choose what can and can't be recycled. Regardless, I applaud her trying :D

I watched A Plastic Ocean. It shocked me how much plastic and other pollutants are out in the environment. Even though we think that us discarding one piece of plastic into the environment wont make an impact, I does. Imagine if every person on earth thought the same thing, that their one piece of plastic doesn't matter. That's A LOT of plastic!

We went to ZooTampa the other week and we saw the manatees. A couple of the manatees had larges scars on their backs. It reminded us how much of an negative impact our negligence to the environment can cause.

I made sure to check my communities recycling guidelines. I cleaned and recycled many items around my home. I didn't realize how many recyclables there were in my house! ♻️
