    had conversations about straws today and keeping them out of landfills and oceans!

    In what neighborhoods or areas of your region are landfills or other waste sites located? Which communities are most affected by these locations?

    The landfills in my city are close to capacity. So now we sort our own trash even more. Various areas were made into landfills years ago. The nearest one to me is actually near an area with expensive homes. There is continual conflict as the landfill is located in one city and the road leading to it in another city. Each has shut the other out at times!
