REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat did you find out about your plastic consumption by using the calculator? What did or didn't surprise you?
Katie M Ford 7/13/2022 6:54 PMI was surprised that my plastic consumption is still in the upper 70% range. I have made many sustainable swaps and I am still way off the mark..it is somewhat discouraging but I will try to find more ways to change. I am just not able to pay a company monthly for this help at this time -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonal CareDisposable tampons and menstrual pads are often quite expensive. What are the economic and personal benefits of this switch for you?
Katie M Ford 7/11/2022 4:33 AMNot subjecting my body to the irritating plastic, adhesives, and added fragrances will help with my personal comfort. I am also looking forward to not needing to change a pad every couple of hours giving me more freedom in my activities
