Also, I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it. But I use an internet search engine called “Ecosia” and with every search I do, the funds generated by ads go towards planting trees!! I really recommend it :)
I’m training a new parter this week and I’m trying very hard to give the trainee the full experience without having to waste so many cups in the learning process.
I love my clear glass cup with the orange and teal drop detailing. The clear cup allows me to see my coffee creations! (p.s. I reuse these vital proteins containers for various things around the house to give the plastic another life!)
I never use the cups at the Starbucks I work at. I bring a hot reusable cup for the morning and a reusable cold cup for before I leave. :) I never leave the house without them but if I did, then I just don’t get coffee that day! Great incentive for me!
I also collect all the plastic film from the all the cups during my work day and take them to a local facility that recycles them. I hope to make this a more common occurrence at my store.
