      Thank you for sharing this! I thought if it had food residue on it I wouldn't be able to recycle it. According to that site, in my area, I can!

    I had not examined the “transfer of microplastics and associated toxic chemicals” which has me reframing my efforts to reduce. I am learning to lean into alternatives to plastic vs only recycling.

    I found Pineland Soap Kitchen at the Waukee farmers market and am happy to switch to a bar that is supporting local business.

    I am happy to share our rooms are nearly all transferred over to large in shower dispensers at Stoney Creek Hotel in Johnston-making the transition to bulk amenities from single use plastic in all of our hotels is reducing our waste by 40.7%
