Food
J4 Cookout
I will use reusable or compostable plates & utensils for my J4 cookout. Why: I tried compostable plastic utensils but they don’t compost in my backyard system and paper plates are often too greasy to compost so we bought cheap plates and utensils that go right into the dishwasher after the parties.
Family
Plastic Free Lunch Boxes
I will only pack reusable cutlery, drinkware and tupperware-like containers in my children's lunches to reduce plastic waste.

Kim Steele 7/08/2022 5:52 AMWe had a cookout here with 20 people. We didn’t use any disposable plates or utensils except for a few compostable dessert plates which went into my compost bin.
