I wanted to sign the petition and be part of the plastic free participants to show my daughter we can do our small part in helping the environment and protecting the animals from being affected by plastic bottles, bags, etc.  We have been re-filling our bottles with water from the fridge and use cloth bags more often than we did before and will continue to do so. We’ve always recycled plastic and have brought the plastic bags we get from shopping to be recycled at our local grocery store. We’ve also picked up trash and recyclables off the beaches we have been to more often than we did before. My daughter enjoys helping the animals and the earth so it makes it a much easier process lol. This is a great idea to get others involved!
