It has been harder than expected in some areas like plastic bags if I am without reusable bags during my vacation last week. I will need to plan better next year during our July 4th vacations.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Since the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?

Only utilize a reusable cup for all my routine drinks, cut out bought plastic by 75% from early this year.

I have stopped utilizing plastic straws and coffee stirring sticks all together.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
How can you be an advocate for using reusables instead of disposables for the rest of your community? Where are they currently dependent on disposable food packaging or eating utensils, and how can you convince them of the need for change?

We brought a less expensive set of plates and silverware on vaction to the beach this year, normally we would only use paper/plastic ware to make it easier.
