July 22 at 8:06 AMThis challenge was not very hard for me. We already use re-usable bags for nearly everything we can. We keep them in the car too.

July 11 at 9:41 AMI have a long way to go to be plastic free and I expected that my sum would be higher. Instead, I was using much less plastic than the average American. However, most of the areas where I scored lower were due to my not using those products. I need to focus more on the items that I do house that have single use plastics.

July 7 at 12:57 PMI made a pesto pasta dish last night using basil, spinach, lettuce, and radishes all from my garden! The pasta I bought came in a recyclable cardboard box and all the spices I used are in glass containers. Is it just me or does everything taste better when you grow it yourself?!
-
July 7 at 11:58 AMI added silverware to my work box. Now, when I am out for work, I will have my silverware and a cloth napkin to use vs. the ones provided by the restaurant/food truck.
