    Creative and critical thinking is how new ideas and inventions are created.  The more we channel creative energy into trying to solve and resolve the plastic crisis, the better equipped we will be to get it done faster and smarter.

    The toys that are either homemade (recycled products) or made from earth-friendly materials are so much better for the environment because less toxins/plastics are created during making the product and when disposing the product.  And, it's better for me because I get to use my creativity to make home-made toys and enrichment items and/or vote...

    By being active, passionate and vocal in your inner and outer community circle. Sharing stories, lessons, dreams and goals are a great way to project your personality and creativity without having excessive accessories and the latests fashions.  Style is created internally...not worn externally.

    I really want to try to do more of these 'actions' on a yearly basis.  Perhaps I can set small monthly goals to keep challenging myself, my family and community to be more of an environmental steward.

    That the most developed countries with higher economic growth are not doing their part to protect the environment, and countries with slower economic growth that are still developing will bear the bigger burden of climate change and environmental pollution.

    Today i learned thermal paper receipts have plastic on them!!  What!?  I feel like ive done so well this Plastic Free July but now feel terrible about all the receipts ive gotten and recycled (not knowing they cant be recycled and likely contaminated the whole bin!!)  I am heartbroken 😢
