    I learned ways to be zero waste when grocery shopping, this is a big opportunity for my household so this came in so handy and I'm ready for the challenge :)

    Incorporating the R's into my daily life will take a conscious effort all the time.  Being aware of what I am using and asking myself "can it be re-purposed" or "can I change a habit by incorporating one of the R's".  It will definitely be a journey, but one worth investing in!

    While traveling, our family carried reusable bottles. One time, at the Newark airport, we could not find any water fountains to refill our bottles.  We were happy that a restaurant there was willing to fill out bottles for us.  We should commend restaurant owners for doing so.     I ended up finding some interesting new cleaning products during my search for soap refills. Hoping they work well enough to be replacements for my current Household cleaners.

     I leaned that #1 plastic boxes, like packaged produce boxes, are no longer accepted by the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub. In our household, that plastic is the largest in quantity amongst all the plastics that Rumpke does NOT accept.  We plan to avoid getting produce in this plastic as much as possible.  We should try and get bulk...

    Working from home is significantly more eco-friendly!  We all have to make changes and influence to reduce plastic at work.
