Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

I joined the challenge because we all need to start making a difference. We are harming the natural beauty that God has given us. The actions I did during this month long challenge was mostly not using plastic for anything. I have always brought bags to the grocery store since they first started. I am working on my house to being a plastic free household but have a way to go. One the thing I did do for this challenge I did by reusable gallon freezer bags and will buy all the rest of the sizes so I won't need to buy any more plastic.

I’ve decided to try saving as much of the plastics that I can’t avoid using this month and make an ecobrick! I’m following this tutorial: https://www.ecobricks.org/how/

If you've missed a check in (which gets us points), you can click on Dashboard (on the top menu) and page down.  You'll see the list of past dates and you can click on one to check in on a date in the past.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Reusable Food Storage
How can you think outside the box (or bag!) when it comes to disposables?

You have to realize disposables are not great for our environment.  Do not use disposables, always use reusable.
