Not an easy challenge being away from home and staying in Florida for a few days, but I opted out of straws, had several cooked meals with family, and finished leftovers so nothing went to waste. Fast fashion is something I haven't thought about in a while, but after having watched several videos online, I was reminded of Patagonia's "fix, not replace" principle...and the Rent the Runway company that empowers consumers to rent instead of purchase. Less is more. 

I was happy to see I use less than half the plastic an average American uses every day, and 22% less than the average European. But there's still room to grow!

Looking forward to another great year!! This ecochallenge always gives me the nudge I need to try new things, and I'm so excited to build more good habits this July!
