when packing 'snacks' to keep in my home office; I'm using reusable containers instead of baggies --  also helps keeps the pretzels and such from getting crushed 

I've started taking my travel cup to Church on Sundays -- saves using one of the disposable ones they have; and it keeps my coffee hotter longer :)

Not so much meals when traveling; but I'm starting to have portion-sized snacks ready to go to take on trips ...    it's more convenient and actually saves money ..

I like refilling travel sized containers -- this way; I can continue to use the regular shampoo/conditioner that I usually use 

It seems like restaurants are switching to PAPER STRAWS...     of if PLASTIC STAWS are still being used, often they need to be requsted... 

I now keep bags in the car -- and put them back in once they're emptied at home.           I also keep a collapsible crate and cooler bag in the car for those Costco trips ... 

Last year I learned our disposable contact packaging could be recycled. I started saving them last July and have continued since! I have a nearly full box to take into our optomotrist office soon!

I finally found a local resource to take my old electronics, including computers! The stations that take cell phones and tablets seemed to be easy to find, but finding one that takes laptops and other electronics was a little more challenging for the area that I live.

I had never heard of bioplastics, and now I am super excited to make sure that when given a choice I will choose bioplastics. Also, even though my city doesn't curbside recycle bioplastics I have an option for a drop off near me!

After understanding what my curbside recycling program does and does not accept, I was able to find a drop off location near me for plastic cups. This is huge since I haven't fully graduated to plastic free when picking up fast food.
