It was a good exercise to focus our family on plastic use at our home. To question what we buy that is made of plastic. And to commit to not buying single use plastic items. 

Trying to be aware of all recyclables we use and making sure that we save them from landfills 

Still giving me better awareness to items used and purchased 

Natural, is the key word there. Most things tagged as that will be easier on the environment and animals vs other materials. Any staying with things made in the US 

Was pretty conservative before the challenge. But am considering what happens to something after I purchase it. 

Cutting back on single use plastic products has really reduced how much trash we have at home. I can already tell the difference. 

Walked instead of driving 

Many action items listed are already a part of my life.

Reuse metal containers 

We are considering plastics in our everyday life…trying to avoid all of them. Because there are so many dif kinds of plastic, how they’re made, they can’t all be recycled. And I’m starting to wonder just how much plastic actually gets recycled.
