July 31 at 7:04 PMI'm really bummed that I was not able to check-in July 17 - 23. We had limited wifi access, and I forgot to access the Eco Challenge during this time.

July 31 at 6:57 PMWe use this every time we brush Castle. We gave him a bath when we came back from Italy, and it was MUCH easier to just use the glove to brush him.
-
July 31 at 6:56 PMThe dryer sheets are very annoying. I did not use any dryer sheets in Italy, as we used laundry SHEETS that dissolved instead of plastic bottles. For drying, we hung all our clothes on clothes racks to dry, which was easy in the triple digit heat. It really makes me think about using this technique in San Ramon, CA as we have lots of wind and...

July 31 at 6:54 PMI found this easier, as we purchased Ziplock baggies at the store for our trip. I packed our snacks for the day trips in these baggies and it was very helpful.

July 31 at 6:52 PMI will always use my Rubbermaid plastics for leftovers. It is so convenient. However, in Italy, I did not see any of these in our Bed and Breakfasts or apartments. Sad.

July 31 at 6:51 PMI really did notice that the cafes in Italy used paper containers for the cappucino and lattes that we drank, but PLASTIC lids. I used mugs for my tea that I made each morning, but had no real control over the cafes. They would only serve in their paper/plastic lid cups.

July 31 at 6:48 PMIn many of the cities of Italy, especially in Rome, the water fountains have clean, drinkable water. Our party of three were able to refill our water bottles frequently, which not only saved us lots of $$ in bottled water, it also saved plastics. I did notice SO many bottles of Sparkling water in addition to natural water. The garbage was...

July 31 at 6:45 PMIt was interesting the packaging in Italy. For snacks, I noticed that cookies were prepackaged in two per packages. While this was useful for our frequent day trips, it is a bit wasteful for at-home use. I could just put in Ziplock container to keep fresh.

July 31 at 6:36 PMI have been using the same clothing all holiday. I have thoughtfully limited myself to two pairs of shorts, two running shorts, two skorts and two pants. Along with 6 shirts. That's it for the wardrobe for three weeks. It has made packing and deciding what to wear much easier.

July 31 at 6:35 PMI definitely think that I experienced this side effects. I actually have been trying to move to different deodorant, but I've not found a brand that works effectively. I especially experienced this in the triple digit heat of Italy while on holiday!
