This was a wonderful experience. I was able to be conscious of my actions and express my concerns with a community of like-minded individuals.

I'm really hopeful of the day I don't have to actively say "no straws, please" or catch the servers right before they take them out of their pocket.

We can just use our hands. No more utensils.

People looked at me weird, but not weird enough to bother me. One snack bowl at time.

We have to get back to publicly shaming folks. I heard my friend's excuse for using styrofoam plates and cups because she was too lazy to wash dishes. I put her on blast. I educated her that her laziness is  contributing to this ecosystem's downfall. Normalize plastic bullying. It works.
