    It went great, and even though I lost, it was a fun and educational experience. I learned that it's hard to get a large group of people to commit to entering information every day.

    Steel razors are not only better for the planet, but also work a lot better too!  I don't think there was every a need for disposable razors, I think it was sold as a convenience that people thought they needed but truly they didn't.

    Plastic Free July was very fun and eye-opening.  I learned a lot, tried a lot of new products and am excited for the permanent changes that I made in my every day life.

    The best way to advocate for more alternatives is to make the switch yourself.  And then let others know what you've found.  I've also been looking into ways to recycled plastic tooth paste tubes as well.

    I try to avoid bottled waters at all costs, bring my reusable bottle everywhere with me as to not support the plastic bottled water scene.  To support this initiative, we got reusable bottles for all our employees at work so they can say no to plastic bottled water too!

    Hosting a watch party is a great way to get healthy conversation started about small changes we can make to be more sustainable. Every little thing helps!

    My wife was looking for some eco friendly projects to do with the kids. I let her know about a DIY soap project I saw at our Sustainability Open House last week, so that might be a fun project for us to do in the near future, which will also help to eliminate the use of plastic packaging from bottles of body wash.

    The easiest, and most alarming, piece of information that I use is to inform them that every single piece of plastic ever created still exists. That hit home for me, and influenced me to minimize the amount I use, while hoping others can manage to do the same so as to reduce the demand for single use plastics.

    By implementing more water fountains for bottles. In addition, restricting the single use cups from reach/purchases.

    Houston is obviously home to many petrochemical corporations, many of which donate substantially to facilities like ours in order to show some goodwill. They are huge employers and help make our economy what it is, but they'll follow the money, so if anyone can produce an alternative that is more environmentally friendly, and as profitable as...
