    Kitchen plastic waste is our trouble area. We had several cheese wrappers and cereal bags. Kitchen waste is where we can reduce trash the most, but it is the most difficult.

    Packaging from cheese is our biggest source of trash that we identified in the trash audit. Aside from not eating cheese (which is unlikely), there is not a great option for alternatives.

    I don't necessarily find bar shampoo less expensive than bottled shampoo, but I much prefer it. I've been using bar shampoo and soap for years, and it makes traveling a breeze.
