Just signed a petition at www.trcp.org meant to stop industrial menhaden reduction fishing in the Chesapeake Bay! Atlantic Menhaden are small schooling fish. They are crucial to the coastal food chain, and in particular make up 30% of striped bass’ diets.

I love buying used items. Is it vintage? Is it designer that I got a really good deal on? No matter what I find secondhand, it keeps me aware of whether or not I really need or want an item versus having things just because and makes me think about not just these purchases, but really take the time to think about purchasing new items as...

I now use the Thinx products. Although it took some time getting used to, I feel more in tune with what my body is experiencing each month. It's also nice not having to worry about those embarrassing moments potentially happening or running out. I also feel better knowing I'm not accumulating that much waste each month.
