We have benefited by getting used baby clothing and other items. It's a much better option than buying new, or otherwise having the items be thrown out or donated to organizations.

REFLECTION QUESTIONLifestyle Support a Sharing EconomyWhat are the benefits of a sharing economy? How could a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with friends, family and/or neighbors?
Chris Easlea 7/10/2022 8:34 AMThere are facebook groups called "Buy nothing (city/town where you live) " which are a great way to donate items that you no longer need.

REFLECTION QUESTIONFamily Use Cloth DiapersIn what ways is diapering your child with cloth diapers better for your child, better for you, and better for the environment?
Chris Easlea 7/01/2022 8:00 AMWhen H was pregnant, I had started researching cloth diapering. Let me tell you, the benefits outweigh the negatives 100 to 1. Cloth diapering (especially if one expects to have multiple children) is amazingly cost effective, safe, and so much better for the environment. You eliminate throwing out hundreds of chemical-full diapers in months, it can lead to the child learning how to be potty trained much earlier, and is great on the wallet. The only negatives are nasty #2's, but just wear gloves, and since its your child it could be worse.
