Prepackaged snacks add more waste, are sometimes less healthy for you, and also tend to cost more.

After a hard rain, there always seems to be more litter exposed.

Picking up litter always gives me a sense of pride for where I live and work. And it is one more piece of trash that won't end up in our waterways.

Sometimes the trash I pick up at work is from the squirrels littering. (Well, dropping what they don't want when they raid the garbage cans.)

My favorite reusable snack containers are some smaller glass jars originally from honey. I always have one full of nuts and seeds and another for salad dressings.
