Currently most of the packaging for toothpaste is plastic. How can you advocate for more alternatives through your purchasing power and influence in community?

Love the Canadian company Etee (www.shopetee.com) for plastic free body care and their toothpaste (chewpaste) is great, I really wasn't expecting to like it but I do. The also sell plastic free floss which will probably be my next venture as I already use bamboo toothbrushes.

Great article, although a little out of date (2017), but the most information I could find in one place about Canadian landfill stream.

    Food Use a Reusable Mug
Since the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?

By making my own coffee before leaving my house instead of going to a drive thru on the way to work I am still able to save a cup by using my own reusable even when coffee shops are not accepting reusable cups
