  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Lifestyle Ditch Dryer Sheets
Often, single-use and disposable products don't just create more trash - they also contain toxins that are bad for humans. What are some other single-use items that are harmful to humans?

This dryer sheet thing is definitely a work in progress. Tried the wool balls (hard nope on the texture for me) trying low packaging dryer pods!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Cook a Plastic Free Meal
Do an inventory of your kitchen to see how many single-use plastics you've used in the past. What are some resuable alternatives to these commonly used products? What would your impact be if you switched all the single-use products from your inventory to reusable?

I have definitely altered how I do weekly meal prep! We’ve basically stopped using single use.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Lifestyle Buy Only What I Need
As you have reduced your spending, what have you noticed about your 'health and safety' purchasing habits? How might this change your longer term purchasing decisions?

Buying only what I need has definitely helped with my addiction to leaving the store with a fist full of Slim Jims.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Minimize Packaging
With the added mindfulness of reducing your packaging, what have you noticed about the amount and type of single use plastics used for packaging when you shop in the grocery store?

I love to marinate! I use reusable baggies now instead of disposable.
