I am not shopping often, but like so many, including Sue, I take my own bags. I made produce bags from scraps of ripstop, netting and muslin. They work great!

So far the things I’m doing are (sorta) no brainers …. Easy things.  Need to step up the game a bit!

Gotta say it one more time:  Beeswax reusable wraps.  No plastic wrap needed…. Ever Again!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use Reusables at Work
It is often true that we only have control over our own actions and not the collective community. How can you lead by example when it comes to switching disposables for reusable dishes in your community?

I keep calling this “the place where I work” but it’s actually a Florida state park where I volunteer.   They are doing a great job with reusing, rethinking, recycling.  It’s so great to be a part of their mission and programs.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Use a Reusable Mug
Since the restrictions that COVID-19 has required of our society, trying to use your own cup might present new barriers, as well as new opportunities for creative problem solving. How were you able to achieve success on this action? How can you make it a long-term habit?
