Hey, Team!  We're half-way through the Ecochallenge.  I hope you're all having fun with it!  It's been a bit harder than I anticipated, but such a great motivator to be a little more intentional.  Let's try to do one more action this coming week: inspire one of our less-active teammates to check in and accomplish an action.  Who's with me?  Let's get some more points!!

I need to work on my grocery-shopping choices! But it was comforting to see that I'm on the right track with swaps I've already made in my personal care items, buying consignment clothes, and bringing my own take-out supplies when dining out.

Got a coffee in my own ceramic mug from Bagel Nation today and they use all paper to wrap the food. I love when places let me use my own coffee cup!

Hi teammates! Did you pick a one-time action to "join a litter cleanup"? Well it's time to do a litter sweep at SCA's adopted boat landing, Wappoo Cut.  We can do it together and knock out this Ecochallenge action!  Join the Conservation department on Wednesday, July 6 at 4:30-6:00 pm for the sweep, then everyone is welcome to move to Maybank Public House for happy hour refreshments.  Wappoo Cut is located at Tranquil Dr (West Ashley side of Wappoo Creek) where Folly Rd crosses from West Ashley to James Island.  We'll bring all the supplies, just let me know if you are coming. Hope to see you there!
