Welp, it's the last day of plastic free July and I don't have anything else witty to say since "Sandy says straws suck" is my magnum opus so instead I'll just say thank you guys for all the replies on my comments and stuff. I saw them all so sorry for never responding back, I don't like how my reply goes above the thing I was replying to so that's why I never responded. Anyways here's to a hopefully successful plastic free July and hopefully I'll see you guys here next July! 

Last time I came up with the quote "boo plastic" when I participated in this all those years ago. So here's another another one I came up with. Sandy (the sea turtle) says straws suck.

Man just a few more days to go then plastic free july is all over. It's crazy how time flies. So keep on not using plastic or whatever it is your doing my fellow aquarium people!

It's kinda interesting how some people are more conscious about the plastic they're using then others are. For example I'm always thinking about it and what I can save for trex both at home and at shadowlawn/oceanfront eats. Compared to say, my boss at said restaurants, Chad who to his credit has been very receptive to the idea of using less plastic and all that but just doesn't think about it as much so he'll sometimes throw a bread bag or something away without thinking twice about it. 

The hardest challenge I picked is the picking up litter one. Not because it's hard but because I'm lazy and i don't feel like doing anything other then playing video games when I get home from work. I do pick up random pieces of trash on my way to, from, and during work but other then that the laziness is a very difficul wall to overcome

I feel as though most or at least a lot of these challenges are geared towards the assumption that the people participating in this challenge are adults that have normal adult responsibilities such as buying their own food at the grocery store and stuff. So given how I don't have those responsibilities (love you mom) I find that there are a significant lack of challenges that I can personally do so I'll probably never get first place in one of these anytime soon but that's ok. Because I can just annoy my family and be 1st in that instead! 

My new goal is to beat my mom in this challenge!!!

I just went to Freddies which is a burger place with my dad and little bro and unfortunately they got malts which came in plastic cups and big ol, plastic straw things but I didn't get a drink or anything that came in plastic which was surprisingly prolific in this place.

My mom just joined this today and I can't help but feel a little betrayed she didn't ask me, her own son for an invite lol.

Remembering to check in with this everyday before midnight is very hard
