I will continue to share what I’m doing with others and find new ways to reduce my plastics.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Dig into Bioplastics

    Tristin Ware's avatar
    Tristin Ware 7/31/2022 6:50 PM
Tampa has limits to recycling so I try to limit what I use. Although better, bio plastics still produce waste.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Personal Care Eco Deodorant
Do some research on the toxic side affects of aluminum deodorant. After reading the side effects, can you think of instances where you may have experienced the side effects from this form of deodorant?

    Tristin Ware's avatar
    Tristin Ware 7/31/2022 6:47 PM
I have not experienced side affects at this point and will try to keep using a zero aluminum deodorant.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Lifestyle Travel Toiletries
What is the benefit of using bar soaps or refilling your travel sized containers? Is this an action you think you will keep in your life?

    Tristin Ware's avatar
    Tristin Ware 7/31/2022 6:42 PM
I believe I will keep this action going because it helps me organize for a trip and helps keep our waste down.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Advocate for Office Reusables
What are some of the cases you could make to an employer for why switching to durable dishes and utensils is actually in their best interest as well?

    Tristin Ware's avatar
    Tristin Ware 7/31/2022 6:01 PM
An employer would save money by providing reusable items and it could improve employee morale especially if incentives are given for using the items.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Tristin Ware 7/30/2022 8:24 PM
It is becoming unhealthy for all living things. Scientists are finding micro plastics everywhere and climate change is becoming more noticeable. Society needs to shift from a convenience mind set to what’s right mind set.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Pets Thrifty Pets
How does buying used differ from buying new? How does each purchasing decision make you feel?

    Tristin Ware's avatar
    Tristin Ware 7/30/2022 8:21 PM
Usually buying used is less expensive and sometimes the item was barely used. It is challenging to find everything you might need used, especially certain pet products.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I think it takes a while for people to adopt news habits but I will keep trying!
