    Community Research Local Waste Sites
In what neighborhoods or areas of your region are landfills or other waste sites located? Which communities are most affected by these locations?

I live in a city and we have several waste sites and landfills in the city, Some recycle, others take care of the big issues. However, as a manufacturer you cannot bring your stuff and go. It must be announced, forms filled out about the trash and it must be accepted by the landfill. These landfills are outside and away from purely residential areas.

How long does it take until plastic is biodegradable.  Shocking!

How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

I only buy new clothes when I need them and wear clothes I have used in the office at home until they are done. I also buy from time to time eco fashion if it fits as office clothing. However, the prices are so high that I sometimes switch back to normal fashion. Digging into this topic has touched me. I also don't think about the hands who have created my T-shirt or that my cloth is producing microplastic. I will get back to buying eco fashion and then do it without one or two parts,

I use Luffa sponges for dish washing, no micro plastic and a natural product. You can wash them several times and reuse.

I think we also need to raise this topic in schools. When teachers explain the problem and help to find alternatives, it is of great value, Children bring home the ideas and usually families starting to change habits. Any teachers here???

How easy was this swap for you? Did you have any concerns before making it?

I only recently discovered dish washing soap. I have never seen them before and was curious. I douted that it really cleans and that it is good for my health. Stupid, but I had this on my mind. After some weeks, I see it cleans, but washing glasses is difficult, as there always spots. Then I need to wash with clear water which is not sustainable.  Am I doing something wrong??

I use an ostrich feather duster for dusting. Easy handling, you just shake it out. No dusters with microplatic needed and lasts a long time,
