What did you and your family learn about environmental justice? What questions came up for you? What feelings?

I have been pretty privileged in my life that I haven't really thought about environmental justice or what it is. It was eye opening to read more on it and  defintently made me think more about what my price page affords me as far as the environment is concerned.

I appreciate companies like life water that even though it is plastic water bottle they use 100 percent recycled plastic for their bottles

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community Become a Recycling Pro
What have you learned about what is accepted by local haulers for recycling, what you can drop off or ship to certain places, and what is not recyclable in your area? What is the most difficult part of recycling for you?

    Mandi Townzen's avatar
    Mandi Townzen 7/26/2022 10:06 AM
It was interesting to learn about some of what is accepted and what's not. Like a yogurt lid by itself will not be but when attached it is able to be recycled.

I love restaurants that wait until people ask for a straw to hand out vs just putting on table, because even if you weren't going to use, once on table a lot of places usually have to toss anywho
