July 18 at 3:46 AMInvestigate the "sustainability" and supply chain for any water you buy. Or stop using bottled water and filter - this could reduce potentially important income where water is sustainably sourced?
-
July 18 at 3:44 AMEasy to do once you build the habit! Give yourself space to think and imagine a life without plastic waste, what could that look like, feel like, smell like?
-
July 18 at 3:41 AMIt feels good to take more time to make a pot of "loose" tea or infusion! However it does use water to wash the pot afterwards -another plus though you can put the leaves in the compost!

July 13 at 8:40 AMThis was surprising, and made me realizing that my food consumption habits drive a LOT of my plastic use. I thought my skin, hair and makeup routines are very plastic-dependent with bottles and containers all containing plastic, but as it turns out, it is my grocery store trips that generate the most plastic from my lifestyle! This is disappointing and hard to combat when the...

July 5 at 5:16 AMOther benefits include joy from nurturing, sharing herbs and veggies with friends and neighbors, and providing habitat for pollinators/other insects!

July 4 at 8:21 AMI just joined today and started taking action, using my reusable water bottle and refilling it several times during the day to avoid plastic only-use bottles. I'm also using my personal stainless steel mug and make my own coffee at home to avoid buying somewhere else and that way avoid only-use mugs.

July 1 at 11:12 AMSwitching to a refillable soap has been very easy and I switched out the sponge for a brush with a replaceable head!
